Smale Farm Equipment are not a manufacturer of disc seeding units however the versatile nature of the Multi-Vator provides a number of options for the application of disc seeding.

MULTI-VATOR FRAME WITH SPRING TINES AND INTERCHANGEABLE DISC UNIT

The concept of an interchangeable disc unit allows a standard tined machine to be converted to a disc seeder by exchanging the bottom ground tool for a disc unit, utilising the existing tine assemblies.

The obvious advantage of this system is that it allows the value of the existing framework and tine mechanisms to be retained and provides the flexibility to convert between spring tines and discs as circumstances demand.

MULTI-VATOR FRAME WITH PRIMARY SALES SEEING DISC

Primary Sales Australia manufacture a Twin Disc Seeding Module.

This unit is designed to work in conjunction with a leading tine. It is not designed with the strength to be a ground opener as well as a seeding unit.

The Smale-Primary Precision Seeder frame can be made to accommodate these seeding discs in conjunction with the Primary Hydraulic Tine as the leading tine and ground opener.

MULTI-VATOR FRAME WITH THIRD PARTY DISC UNIT

The principles of a custom built Multi-Vator can be applied to make a frame to suit a third party disc unit as well as met the requirements for the dimensions of the framework. Provided that the third party disc unit can bolted to a 100mm x 100mm rank then a frame can be built to match your requirements.

This includes width, spacing, fold points and wheel tracks. Furthermore you are not bound by the six ranks of a standard Multi-Vator and a lesser number of ranks is possible. Please feel free to contact us for a no-obligation discussion re your requirements.
